The following procedures are established pursuant to Chapter 5.50 SHDC, prescribing minimum requirements for certification as an OSS septic tank pumper and prescribing minimum limited repair and reporting requirements related to OSS septic tank pumping and inspection activities. Nothing contained in this policy shall be construed to prevent the Health Officer from requiring compliance with higher requirements than those contained herein where such higher requirements are essential to maintain a safe and sanitary condition.
