2.75.070 Enforcement procedures.
A. The Snohomish Health District is authorized to enforce the restrictions and requirements of this chapter; assess all costs of enforcement against the person or entity who is in noncompliance in accordance with SHDC 1.05.030; and otherwise pursue compliance with this chapter.
B. The Health Officer or designee may enforce the requirements and restrictions of this chapter by one or a combination of the following by the issuance of a written order:
1. Requiring an informal administrative conference;
2. Prohibiting certain conduct or directing certain conduct;
3. Imposing a civil fine of up to $100.00 for each violation. Each day upon which a violation occurs or is permitted to continue constitutes a separate violation.
The Health Officer or designee is authorized to pursue civil fines and costs including attorney fees by commencement of civil action in the name of the Snohomish Health District independent of and/or as a means of enforcing written orders of the Health Officer referenced above.
