Any provision of the Charter subject to being not contrary to law may be amended at a regular meeting of the Board of Directors when a quorum is present. However, at least ten (10) days’ written advance special notice of any proposed amendment to the Charter shall be tendered to all members of the Board of Health before the same may be the subject matter of action by the Board of Health.

Upon the amendment of any portion of the Charter of the Snohomish Health District, the same will be reproduced with such amendment and shall be considered to be the current Charter of the Board of Health. The Executive Secretary shall be responsible for maintaining a master file of the Charter of the Snohomish Health District, including all documentation relating to historical amendments thereto.
